To provide proactive leadership to

Economic Development
Goal #1
Encourage and facilitate continuing
growth and development of new and existing
businesses and the population in the greater Richlands area.
Objective: Assist in marketing
to expand tourism in Tazewell County.
Objective: Assist Tazewell
County in marketing the attractiveness of the
region as a place to live, work and thrive.
Goal #2
Advocate for business and community
issues to improve the economic
opportunities in the greater Richlands area.
Objective: Remain actively
involved with federal, state, county and local
governments.
Membership Services
Goal #3
Continue the pursuit of
organizational excellence.
Objective: Sponsor and promote
activities to enhance the quality of life for
the citizens of the greater Richlands area.
Objective: Obtain the active
support and commitment of members and use
their knowledge and talent to improve the effectiveness of the
organization.
Objective: Maintain a strong
financial position.
Objective: Obtain the active
support and commitment of member
organizations on the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Continually develop and improve
partnerships with critical community
organizations.
Objective: Network with
businesses in the community to enhance their
success.

and influence to improve local school systems.
